Video poker is a combination of slot machines and five-card draw poker. There are two significant differences between regular poker and video poker. One being the fact of playing against a machine and not real people, and the other, in consequence with the previous, is that the player's aim is to achieve particular hands and not beat opponent's hands.
With the invention of the computer chip, during the mid 1970's we received the video poker. A game that brings together the excitement of the graphics and sound effects of the machine and the enjoyment of a game requiring skill as well as luck.
